Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Sheet Metal Press Brake Operator / Workshop Operative to begin work for a well-established company in the Poole area.
About the role:
- Working Hours – 39.5 hours per week
- Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
- Salary – £30,000 per annum
Brief Role Description – Working within a busy workshop environment manufacturing architectural aluminium profiles, metal trims and flashings to specification. The role involves operating workshop machinery, producing bespoke products from technical drawings and supporting wider workshop operations when required.

About You:

- You must be a time served/qualified Sheet Metal Press Brake Operator / Workshop Operative
- Proven experience within sheet metal fabrication
- Experience operating press brakes and guillotines essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Positive attitude with strong health & safety awareness
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential

Main Duties:
- Operate CNC workshop machinery including guillotines, brake presses and turret punch equipment
- Produce metal trims and flashings to specification and quality standards
- Manufacture bespoke profiles from customer drawings
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Support loading, unloading and movement of materials within the workshop
- Maintain workshop equipment and housekeeping standards
- Support other workshop departments when required including powder coating and dispatch
