Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Forklift Driver to begin work for a well-established company in the Telford area.

About the role:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch, 8 hours paid per day)
  • Pay Rate: Competitive pay rate (DOE)
  • Brief Role Description: Working within a busy yard and warehouse environment handling ductile iron pipes and materials. Duties include forklift operation, loading and unloading artic lorries, order picking and preparing stock for dispatch. Long-term work for the right candidate. Start: Monday 8th June

About You:

  • High work ethic & team player
  • Punctual & reliable
  • You must be a time served/qualified Forklift Driver
  • Valid forklift licence required
  • Previous warehouse, yard or dispatch experience preferred
  • Comfortable working with heavy materials and stock handling

Main Duties:

  • Load and unload artic lorries safely and efficiently
  • Pick orders from stock locations
  • Bundle and prepare orders for dispatch
  • Operate forklift trucks safely in line with procedures
  • Handle ductile iron pipe products and materials
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment

PPE Required:

  • High visibility coat/vest
  • Hard hat
  • Safety boots
