Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to begin work for a well-established company at Alderley Park in the Macclesfield area.
About the role:
- Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:00
- £21.02 per hour PAYE (£41k salary equivalent)
- Start: Monday, 7 September 2026
- End: Monday, 9 November 2026
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site
- Fault finding and maintenance of mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, BMS, LTHW, CLTHW, pumps and motors
- Producing parts lists, estimated timescales and condition/dilapidation reports where required
- Out-of-hours call-out support may be required
- Working independently while also supporting the wider engineering team
About You:
- High work ethic & team player
- Punctual & reliable
- Recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification essential
- Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification essential
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations essential
- Strong mechanical and plumbing knowledge
- Experience fault finding HVAC systems and plant
- Experience with BMS, LTHW, CLTHW, pumps, motors and LV power systems
- Understanding of L8 ACOP
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Able to manage and prioritise workload
- Good communication skills and able to work with clients and site teams
