Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an experienced Groundworks Foreman to begin work for a well-established company on a new build development in Inchinnan, PA4.

About the role:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Pay Rate: £26.00 per hour
  • Duration: Long-term work (up to 1 year for the right candidate)
  • Start: ASAP

Brief Role Description:

We are looking for an experienced Groundworks Foreman to oversee a busy construction team working on a new build development in Inchinnan. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site operatives and trades, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The role will involve coordinating daily activities, monitoring progress, maintaining quality standards, supporting productivity, and ensuring the smooth delivery of groundworks including foundations, roads, drainage and plot works. Candidates must have previous new build experience and be confident overseeing a team while working closely with site management to deliver projects on time and within specification. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Foreman looking for long-term work on a major development project.

About You:

  • Previous experience working as a Groundworks Foreman, Site Foreman or Working Foreman
  • Strong background within new build developments
  • Experience overseeing groundworks teams and trades
  • Good knowledge of foundations, drainage, roads and plot works
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
  • SMSTS qualification required
  • Valid CSCS card required
  • First Aid qualification required
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • High work ethic & team player
