The Project
This is an exciting opportunity to join a major dual carriageway design and build project for a Tier 1 contractor. The scheme includes:
- 10km of new dual carriageway
- 4.5km of side roads
- Approximately 1 million cubic metres of earthworks
- Four major concrete structures (around 12,000m of concrete)
- Drainage and roadworks packages
The Role
As a Site Engineer / Section Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Setting out using primary control points
- Producing as-built drawings and accurate site records
- Completing quality inspections and quality check sheets
- Maintaining daily diaries and field control sheets
- Carrying out site inspections, hazard identification and safety briefings
- Measuring materials used and monitoring progress against programme
- Producing weekly measurements, take-offs and material schedules
- Supporting the delivery of works safely, efficiently and to specification

We are looking for an experienced engineer with knowledge of:
- Setting out using levels and theodolites
- Earthworks, drainage and reinforced concrete
