Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for Electrical Improvers to begin work for a well-established company in the Harlow area.

About the Role

  • Start: ASAP
  • Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Duration: Approx. 3 months
  • Pay Rate: £23.75 per hour (£190 per day)
  • Long-term work available for the right candidate

Duties

  • Assist electricians with installation work on large commercial warehouse units
  • Support the installation of high-level containment systems (cable trays, basket, trunking, and conduit)
  • Help install and maintain lighting systems, including fittings and wiring
  • Assist with distribution board (DB) installations and electrical panels
  • Support wiring of single-phase and three-phase systems under supervision
  • Aid in fitting breakers, RCDs, RCBOs, and other switchgear
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings with guidance from senior electricians
  • Assist in fault-finding and basic repairs on electrical systems and panels
  • Support testing and inspection procedures, including EICR checks
  • Ensure work is carried out in line with BS 7671 standards
  • Help upgrade or modify existing distribution boards and systems
  • Assist in installing new circuits as required on-site
  • Maintain tools, materials, and a clean working environment
  • Follow all site health & safety procedures and report hazards when identified
  • Work as part of a team while developing practical electrical skills and knowledge
