Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for Grounds Maintenance Team Leaders to begin work for a well-established company in the Chesterfield area.
About the role:
- Working Hours – 8 hours on site per day + travel to and from site
- Pay Rate – £13.50 per hour
- Brief Role Description – Leading and supporting grounds maintenance teams across various site locations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Duties include operating grounds maintenance machinery, carrying out landscaping duties, and overseeing daily site activities. Long-term work for the right candidate. Start: ASAP.
About You:
- High work ethic & team player
- Punctual & reliable
- Experience within grounds maintenance and horticulture essential
- Supervisory or team leader experience preferred
- CSCS card holder
- Pesticide training (PA1 & PA6) preferred
- Enhanced DBS certificate required
- Full UK driving licence with towing experience preferred
- Willingness to lodge away when required

Main Duties:
- Cutting grass using ride-on mowers, pedestrian mowers, strimmers and blowers
- Leaf collection, weeding, pruning, edging and seasonal maintenance activities
- Carrying out landscaping duties across multiple locations
- Supervising and supporting grounds maintenance operatives
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring health & safety standards are followed
- Travelling between sites as required
