Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Groundworks Supervisor to begin work for a well-established company in the Glasgow area.

About the role:

  • Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Pay Rate – £30 per hour
  • Brief Role Description – Working as a hands-on Groundworks Supervisor overseeing and assisting with hard landscaping and groundworks activities on site. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising operatives, ensuring work is completed safely and to programme, whilst also undertaking groundworks duties when required.

  • Start: Wednesday 17th June

About You:

  • High work ethic & strong team player
  • Punctual & reliable
  • You must be a time served/qualified Groundworker / Groundworks Supervisor
  • SSSTS certificate essential
  • Excavator licence required
  • Dumper licence required
  • Previous supervisory experience within groundworks or hard landscaping essential
  • Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures

Main Duties:

  • Supervising groundworks and hard landscaping operations
  • Coordinating site activities and labour resources
  • Operating excavators and dumpers when required
  • Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification
  • Conducting daily site checks and maintaining health & safety standards
  • Supporting the workforce with hands-on groundworks tasks where necessary
