Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for Mechanical Labourers to begin work for a well-established company in the Islay area (off the west coast of Scotland) and also across Scotland.
About the role:
- Working Hours: 11 days on / 3 days off
- Monday – Thursday: 7am–7pm
- Friday: 7am–3pm
- Saturday/Sunday: 7am–3pm
- Pay Rate: Up to £15.00 per hour based on your experience
- Assisting engineers in building silos for the food and drink industry
- Bolting metal components under instruction
- Labour-intensive, repetitive work – must be physically fit and strong
- Operatives must have a mechanical/building background
- Accommodation, food, and all travel expenses covered
- Transport provided from Edinburgh then transport to the ferry port (3hr drive, 2hr ferry)
- PPE Required: 5-point PPE – Safety glasses, Hi-vis, Safety boots, Hard hat, Gloves
- Long-term work for the right candidate
- Start: 23/06/25
About You:
- High work ethic & team player
- Punctual & reliable
- You must be a time-served/qualified mechanical labourer or have worked in a mechanical/building background
- Physically fit
- Hardworking
- CSCS Essential
