Job Advert: Home to School Minibus Driver We are seeking experienced and caring Home to School Minibus Drivers to join our team in Manchester on behalf of our client. This rewarding role is perfect for individuals who value flexibility, community impact, and professionalism. Position Details: * Job Title: Home to School Minibus Driver * Location: Failsworth, Manchester (Depot: Dob Lane Chapel, 3 Oldham Road, M35 0BR) * Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour * Hours: Split shifts * Morning: 6:30–9:30 * Afternoon: 14:30–17:30 * Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, or Permanent Responsibilities: * Transporting special needs children to and from school safely. * Assisting passengers in boarding and leaving the vehicle according to their individual needs. * Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to GDPR/data protection regulations. * Performing daily vehicle and equipment checks via an electronic recording system. * Collaborating with passenger assistants and management to ensure seamless service delivery. * Participating in training and assessments to maintain a high standard of service. Requirements: * Valid D1 Licence (unrestricted) and CPC card. * Enhanced DBS check (required). * Minimum of 3 years of UK driving experience (preferred). * Based in the Manchester area and able to commute to Failsworth depot. * Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work flexibly. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Empathy, respect, and a caring attitude toward passengers.
