Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to begin work for a well-established company covering the Argyll & Bute, Perth, Edinburgh, Ayrshire and Glasgow areas.
About the role:
- Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Salary – £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Brief Role Description – We are looking for an experienced and motivated Contracts Manager to join a close-knit and successful team of 20 employees. The successful candidate will oversee and manage reactive maintenance and refurbishment projects across the public sector, including schools, hospitals, and police stations. The role will focus on ensuring planned and responsive maintenance works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager, or an ambitious Site Supervisor with a strong background in joinery and general trades who is looking to take the next step into a Contracts Management position. The role will involve managing projects across multiple locations, coordinating teams, liaising with clients, ensuring compliance, and maintaining excellent standards throughout all works.
About You:
- Previous experience working as a Contracts Manager or Site Supervisor ready to progress into Contracts Management
- Strong background in Joinery and General Trades
- Experience within reactive maintenance, refurbishment, or property maintenance environments
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively
- SMSTS qualification required
- PVG Scheme Membership (or willing and eligible to obtain)
- Full UK Driving Licence required
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams etc.)
- High work ethic & team player
- Punctual & reliable
