Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Commercial Plumber / Pipefitter to begin work for a well-established company in the Colne area.

About the role:

  • Working Hours - Monday – Friday - 8am - 5pm
  • Pay Rate - £220 per day

Brief Role Description – We are looking for experienced Commercial Plumber / Pipefitters to work on a project at a School. Duties will include:

  • Removal of existing copper infrastructure
  • Installation of new domestic water services following existing routes
  • Installing pipework onto existing containment where suitable
  • Installing new brackets for phenolic blocks
  • Completing wall and floor penetrations with approved fire-stopping compounds
  • Connecting new infrastructure directly to existing equipment
  • Isolation of existing services as required to complete works safely
  • Drain-down, flushing and recommissioning of affected domestic water systems
  • Installation of valves, fittings, supports and fixings required for a complete installation
  • Installation of TMVs and thermal expansion systems
  • Installation of phenolic insulation and identification labelling
  • Pressure testing of all new pipework installations to relevant standards
  • Long-term work for the right candidate

  • You must be a time served/qualified Commercial Plumber / Pipefitter
  • Previous commercial plumbing experience required
  • CSCS / JIB
