Bench Joiner – Temp to Perm Location: BD20 Area Pay Rate: £14-£15 per hour (+ Overtime Rates) Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime available) Start Date: ASAP Job Overview Multi Trades Recruitment is hiring experienced Bench Joiners for a well-established joinery workshop. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for skilled joiners with shopfitting experience who take pride in their craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities: * Working on high-quality, bespoke joinery projects including bars, office furniture, and courtroom furniture. * Assembling and finishing pieces that come off the CNC machine, ensuring precision and quality. * Collaborating with a team of 25 experienced joiners and apprentices in a busy workshop. * Adhering to health & safety guidelines while maintaining high standards of workmanship. What We’re Looking For: ✅ Experience: 10+ years preferred, but strong shopfitting joiners with the right skills will be considered. ✅ Skills: Ability to work with curved formers, laminating, and assembling complex joinery. ✅ Tools & PPE: Candidates must bring their own hand tools & drills; all other equipment is provided. Safety boots required. ✅ Team Player: Must be able to work well within a team and contribute to a productive environment. Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: £14-£15 per hour Overtime: Paid at time and a third (40+ hours) and time and a half (50+ hours) Temp-to-Perm: Opportunity for a permanent position after a successful probation period Interested?
