Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an experienced Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join our clients team in Leighton Buzzard on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality bespoke joinery and cabinetry, working from technical drawings and using a range of woodworking machinery, hand tools and materials.

Duties

  • Manufacturing and assembling bespoke joinery and cabinetry.
  • Producing high-quality items for locker-room projects.
  • Reading and working accurately from technical drawings and production information.
  • Sanding, finishing and preparing completed items for the spray shop or goods-out department.
  • Operating woodworking machinery and hand-held power tools safely and confidently.
  • Supporting other workshop departments, including the machine shop, when required.
  • Working closely with a small, skilled team to meet production deadlines.
  • Maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Bench Joiner, Cabinet Maker or within a similar role.
  • Strong experience within bespoke joinery or furniture manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Confidence using woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable, responsible and able to work well under pressure.
  • Ideally, 10 or more years of joinery experience; however, competent time-served candidates will also be considered.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to assist across different workshop departments.

Additional in-house training will be provided to suitable candidates to support continued development within the role.
