Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to begin work for a well-established bespoke furniture manufacturer in the Edinburgh area.
About the role:
- Working Hours - Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-12:30pm (39 hours per week)
- Pay Rate - £17.00-£19.00 per hour, dependent on experience
- Manufacturing high-quality bespoke furniture within a busy workshop environment
- Working accurately from technical drawings
- Using woodworking tools, machinery and equipment
- Producing work to a high standard of finish
- Fitting experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Long-term work for the right candidate
- Permanent and temp-to-perm opportunities available
- Start: ASAP
About You:
- High work ethic & team player
- Punctual & reliable
- You must be an experienced/time-served Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner
- Ideally 5+ years' relevant experience
- Confident working independently from technical drawings
- Experienced using woodworking machinery and hand/power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous bespoke furniture/joinery experience preferred
- Portfolio or examples of previous work would be advantageous
