We are currently looking for a Semi Skilled Handyman/Labourer to join our team carrying out social housing refurbishment and maintenance works across Chatham, Strood and Rochester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with general property maintenance or refurbishment experience looking for an immediate start, with the possibility of further work beyond the initial contract.
Duties:
- Cleaning and treating mould-affected areas
- Applying anti-mould paint
- Filling, patch plastering and making good
- Minor grouting and sealing
- General property disrepairs
- Basic handyman and maintenance tasks
- Assisting with refurbishment works
- Ensuring properties are left clean and ready for occupation
What We're Looking For:
- Driving licence (essential)
- Previous experience as a Handyman, Multi Trader, Semi Skilled Labourer, Property Maintenance Operative or Maintenance Technician
- Refurbishment or social housing experience is desirable but not essential
- Able to carry out a variety of basic repair and maintenance tasks
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail
