Multi Trades Recruitment is working with a leading leisure equipment specialist to recruit a Fitter / Installation Technician to join their growing team based in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading suppliers of premium pool tables, snooker tables, and games equipment. You'll be part of a professional installation team delivering exceptional customer service while installing high-quality products in homes and commercial premises across the UK.
The Role
As an Installation Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing slate bed pool tables and other leisure equipment. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that offers full training in specialist installation techniques. You'll also have the opportunity to learn specialist skills including re-clothing and re-cushioning pool tables while working alongside experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and install pool tables and games equipment nationwide
- Assemble and position products in residential and commercial properties
- Re-cloth and re-cushion pool tables
- Provide outstanding customer service at every installation
- Drive company vehicles to and from installation sites
- Assist with warehouse, yard, and van maintenance when required
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Learn specialist installation techniques and product knowledge
Requirements
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, organised, and professional approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn specialist technical skills
- Flexible attitude towards varying start times and occasional overnight stays
- Team player with a positive work ethic
Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
- Typically starting from 7:30 am at the Coventry headquarters
- Up to 23 installations per day
- Overtime opportunities available
- Occasional overnight stays required for long-distance installations (accommodation provided where applicable)
