We are currently recruiting experienced mechanics for a busy automotive workshop based in DA1 1JS. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians looking for a 3-month temporary assignment with competitive hourly pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Replacing and repairing brakes
- Timing belt and wet belt replacements
- Clutch replacements
- Completing MOT repairs
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Confident carrying out servicing, brake work, timing belts, wet belts, clutches, and MOT repairs
- Own tools are essential
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
