Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative / Engineer to begin work for a well-established company covering London and the surrounding areas (ideally based within the KT, SW or TW postcodes).
About the role:
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-time)
- Pay Rate: Up to £28ph
Brief Role Description: We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative / Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across private residential, prime and super-prime properties. This is a varied role requiring a professional individual capable of working independently while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out planned and reactive property maintenance (PPM)
- General plumbing repairs including taps, toilets, leaks, blockages and silicone replacement
- Minor carpentry including doors, locks, shelving, ironmongery and repairs
- Painting, decorating, patch plastering and making good
- Basic electrical maintenance including replacing light fittings, switches and sockets where appropriate
- General handyman duties, tiling repairs, furniture assembly and minor building works
- Diagnosing faults and recommending additional remedial works
- Completing digital job reports and maintaining accurate records
- Protecting client properties and leaving all work areas clean and tidy
- Providing a first-class service whilst working within occupied, high-end residential properties
About You:
- High work ethic & team player
- Punctual & reliable
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in multi-skilled property maintenance
- Strong plumbing, carpentry, decorating and general maintenance experience
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Own hand tools preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence essential
- Experience working in high-end residential properties is advantageous
- Professional, well presented and customer-focused
