Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative / Engineer to begin work for a well-established company covering London and the surrounding areas (ideally based within the KT, SW or TW postcodes).

About the role:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-time)
  • Pay Rate: Up to £28ph

Brief Role Description: We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative / Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across private residential, prime and super-prime properties. This is a varied role requiring a professional individual capable of working independently while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Duties will include:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive property maintenance (PPM)
  • General plumbing repairs including taps, toilets, leaks, blockages and silicone replacement
  • Minor carpentry including doors, locks, shelving, ironmongery and repairs
  • Painting, decorating, patch plastering and making good
  • Basic electrical maintenance including replacing light fittings, switches and sockets where appropriate
  • General handyman duties, tiling repairs, furniture assembly and minor building works
  • Diagnosing faults and recommending additional remedial works
  • Completing digital job reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Protecting client properties and leaving all work areas clean and tidy
  • Providing a first-class service whilst working within occupied, high-end residential properties

About You:

  • High work ethic & team player
  • Punctual & reliable
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in multi-skilled property maintenance
  • Strong plumbing, carpentry, decorating and general maintenance experience
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Own hand tools preferred
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential
  • Experience working in high-end residential properties is advantageous
  • Professional, well presented and customer-focused
