We are currently recruiting for an experienced Handyman to join our client, carrying out responsive maintenance and refurbishment works across a portfolio of private residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and multi-skilled individual looking for a permanent position with a varied workload. No two days are the same, with work ranging from day-to-day maintenance repairs through to kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.
Duties Will Include:
- General responsive maintenance within residential properties
- Carpentry and joinery including fitting kitchens, doors, laminate flooring and partition walls
- Painting and decorating
- Wall and floor tiling
- Basic domestic plumbing including replacing taps, toilets and sinks
- Basic electrical work including replacing sockets, switches, light fittings, extractor fans and appliances
- Preparing vacant properties for new tenants
- Minor refurbishment works including kitchens, bathrooms and full property redecoration
- Diagnosing maintenance issues and completing repairs to a high standard
- Working independently whilst managing your own workload effectively
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Handyman, Multi Trader or Multi-Skilled Operative
- Strong all-round knowledge across multiple trades
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
- Good problem-solving skills
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Relevant trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential
