We are currently recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a well-established, family-run business with over 60 years of combined industry experience. The successful candidate will be proactive, customer-focused and committed to delivering excellent standards of work.
The Role
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys across a variety of sites while ensuring all work is completed in accordance with current legislation and industry best practice.
Duties Will Include
- Carrying out asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys
- Producing accurate survey reports and site drawings
- Working in accordance with HSG264 guidance
- Liaising professionally with clients, site managers, tenants and contracts managers
- Ensuring high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times
- Working independently while also contributing to a close-knit team
Requirements
- BOHS P402 or RSPH Level 3 in Asbestos Surveying
- Valid CSCS Card
- Manual Handling certificate
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong understanding of HSG264 Asbestos: The Survey Guide
- Ability to prepare drawings and complete accurate reports
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience using Alpha Tracker software would be advantageous, although training can be provided
- Reliable, motivated and able to work on your own initiative
