CNC Machinist Team Leader Opportunities
Salary: £40,560+ / £20+ per hour dependent on experience
Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 7.00am – 3.00pm
Multi-Tech Engineering (UK) Limited is a privately owned engineering company supplying a wide range of precision manufacturing services to the Power Generation, Marine, Aerospace, and Defence sectors since 1988. The company specialises in medium to heavy engineering, manufacturing a diverse range of components from drawings and 3D CAD models using CAM, design projects, and samples.
Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist/Programmer Team Leader with high-level turning and milling skill sets. If you are a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist Team Leader with programming abilities from a Turning/Milling background and are looking for your next challenge, then we can offer you a great working environment and excellent future opportunities.

Responsibilities include:
- Manufacture components to drawings and specifications, working to exacting standards and precision and within the company quality, health and safety, and work control procedures.
- Adhere to internal quality procedures and maintain the standards necessary to satisfy the company quality standards (ISO 9001:2015).
- Organise staff, materials, and equipment to ensure that the sections deliver an efficient and high-quality service.
- Assist in training and staff development including mentoring apprentices.
- Adhere to the company Health and Safety Policy and procedures.
- Promote an employee-orientated company culture that emphasises quality, health and safety, continuous improvement, and high performance.
Requirements:
- Conversant in Haas and/or Heidenhain programming.
- Conversant in Fanuc and Siemens programming.
- Experience with Haas Machining Centres (vertical and/or horizontal).
- Recognised Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to produce high quality precision components to tight tolerances.
- Conversant with modern machining practices/methods and tooling.
- Programming abilities.
- CAM software knowledge would be advantageous but non-essential.
- Staff supervision and training/mentoring.
- Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
