Multitask Recruitment Solutions are recruiting an experienced Fabricator / MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturer within the gym equipment industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on fabricator who can work from drawings, fabricate components from raw materials, and complete assemblies to a high standard as part of a skilled production team.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Overtime available
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble steel components from engineering drawings
- Carry out MIG welding to a high standard on mild steel components
- Measure, cut, drill, and prepare materials prior to fabrication
- Assemble frames and structures in line with technical specifications
- Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, strength, and finish
- Use fabrication tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Work closely with team members to meet production deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fabricator / Welder in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Confident in MIG welding and general fabrication techniques
- Experience working with mild steel
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Assembly experience is advantageous
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player
