We are currently recruiting Recycling Operatives to join a busy, fast-paced recycling facility in Whittle-Le-Woods. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy practical work, are comfortable in an outdoor/industrial setting, and want to contribute to a company focused on sustainability and waste reduction.
The Role
As a Recycling Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the plant, ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently. Key duties include:
- General labouring and groundwork around the site
- Picking and sorting recyclable materials from a conveyor belt
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Assisting with the movement of materials and basic site setup
- Carrying out tasks such as shovelling, sweeping, and manual handling
- Working safely alongside heavy machinery
- Following all health and safety procedures
This is a physically demanding role in an outdoor/industrial environment, so you must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
