We are currently recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Machine Operative to join a busy and supportive production team. The Role
As a Production Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating and setting up machinery to ensure materials are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with production schedules. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
- Setting up machines according to job specifications and measurements
- Reading and following job sheets and production instructions
- Ensuring finished products meet quality and accuracy standards
- Carrying out routine machine checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance
- Identifying and reporting faults, errors, or material issues
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Following all health & safety procedures and company policies
- Working collaboratively to achieve daily production targets
Requirements
- Previous experience operating machinery in a production environment (preferred, but not essential - full training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work accurately under time constraints
- Basic mechanical awareness
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
