Furniture Foamer Recruitment Agency: Multitask Recruitment Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Location: Chorley About the Role Multitask Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Furniture Foamer to join a busy and well-established furniture manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail and is committed to producing high-quality furniture. As a Furniture Foamer, you will be responsible for preparing furniture frames by applying the correct foam in line with customer specifications, product designs and manufacturing instructions. You will play an important role in ensuring products meet quality standards and are ready for the next stage of production or packing. Key Responsibilities Apply foam to furniture frames in accordance with customer specifications and product requirements. Select and use the correct foam for each product. Follow foaming instructions, drawings and production guidelines accurately. Carry out quality checks on your own work and inspect the previous stage of production. Follow instructions and daily workloads set by the Supervisor. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Complete time receipts and report damage or scrap using the SAP Business One system. Carry out stock control checks when required. Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment. Keep tools and equipment in good working order. Support other areas of the factory when production demands require it. Identify and suggest improvements to products and manufacturing processes where appropriate. Follow all company procedures, including health and safety requirements, risk assessments and safe working practices.
