We are currently recruiting a Driver that is ADR-qualified for ongoing work involving the collection and transportation of gas cylinders. The majority of routes are based in Lancashire (approximately 90%), with additional work across Yorkshire. The role includes some more complex runs and associated paperwork. Training will be provided, particularly around gas cylinder identification.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle for gas cylinder collections and deliveries
- Correct identification and safe handling of gas cylinders (training provided)
- Completion of delivery notes and compliance paperwork
- Adherence to ADR, safety, and company procedures
- Manual handling of cylinders (some are heavy; equipment provided)
Requirements
- Valid ADR licence (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (suitable for 3.5 tonne vehicle)
- Previous ADR or hazardous goods experience preferred
- Comfortable with paperwork and compliance documentation
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
