School Cleaner
Location: Lammack, Blackburn (BB1 8LA)
Pay: £12.84 per hour
Contract: Temporary / Holiday Cover
Hours: 15 hours per week
Working: On-site
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm 5:00pm

Multitask Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced School Cleaner to provide holiday cover within a school based in the Lammack area of Blackburn.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for part-time hours and who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team, ensuring the school premises are maintained to a high standard throughout the working day.
A valid DBS is essential for this role. Please note that a DBS cannot be provided by Multitask Recruitment Solutions, so candidates must already hold a suitable DBS
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting surfaces
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Replenishing cleaning supplies when required
- Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment
- Following all relevant Health & Safety procedures
- Reporting any issues or maintenance requirements to the appropriate person
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous cleaning experience within a school setting this is essential
- Hold a valid DBS essential
- Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and manage their time effectively
- Take pride in their work
- Have a good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Be comfortable working within a school environment
Working Hours
15 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 2:00pm 5:00pm
This position is for holiday cover only and would be particularly well suited to someone looking for part-time working hours.
Important Information
Previous school cleaning experience is essential.
A DBS is essential for this position and cannot be provided by Multitask Recruitment Solutions. Candidates must already hold a suitable DBS or be able to obtain one independently before commencing the role.
