We are currently recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Welder Fabricator to join our growing and dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual to work on a wide range of fabrication projects, both in the workshop and on-site.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the fabrication and welding of sheet metal and structural components, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and weld components from engineering drawings
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape materials using workshop machinery and hand tools
- Interpret technical drawings and complete tasks independently
- Carry out finishing processes including grinding, polishing, and dressing welds
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar welding/fabrication role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive attitude with good problem-solving skills
