We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to join our delivery team. This role involves early morning deliveries to various locations including Manchester and the Lake District. Based in Preston
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 3.5 tonne van, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations.
- Deliver goods on time to customers across Manchester and the Lakes area.
- Load and unload the van as required, ensuring goods are handled with care.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the transport team.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any defects.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driving licence (Category B). (no more than 3 points)
- Previous van driving or delivery experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of the Manchester and Lakes areas is an advantage.
- Ability to start shifts at 2:00 AM and you will work 3 days per week, 24 hours per week could be more hours based on business needs
- Punctual, trustworthy, and physically fit.
