We are looking for a Yard Operative to join our teams in Lancashire (based out of our Myerscough Smithy compound).
What we are looking for:
- Self-employed basis
- Someone who has strong housekeeping skills to ensure yard is kept tidy
- Ability to move materials, stock, tools and/or equipment
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Operation of Forklift trucks and other on site machinery
- Basic maintenance and repairs
- Waste disposal and recycling
- Stock check and inventory levels
- Sweeping, pressure washing and general upkeep
- Following all our procedures including health & safety
- Work well as part of a team and has a 'can do' attitude
- Motivated to do the job right first time
Licences / tickets:
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence (deal-breaker)
- CSCS (deal-breaker)
- Telehandler licence (deal-breaker)
- Fork Lift Truck licence
- Health & Safety Awareness
- Basic DIY and maintenance skills
