We are looking for Groundwork Operatives to join our teams across various sites. Duties will include preparing and excavating works, setting out and installing drainage, forming foundations, backfilling, compaction, and basic brick/block laying. Works will be carried out at varying locations across the region. You will ensure that works are completed to the highest safety and quality standards, keeping sites clean and tidy and working in line with client specifications and company best practice.
What we are looking for:
- Directly employed or self-employed basis (depending on role)
- Immediate start dates available
- Work rota with varying shifts; overtime and weekend working where required
- Full clean UK driving licence (deal-breaker)
- CSCS card or equivalent (deal-breaker)
- CPCS or NPORS for Dumper, Roller
- Relevant groundwork or construction qualifications (desirable)
- Previous experience in groundworks, drainage, or civils is preferred but training can be provided
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow direction
- Good physical fitness and a positive, can-do attitude
- Able to use own initiative and manage workload on site
