Salary: £29,000 per annum

Holidays: 21 p.a. increasing to 27 days after 5 years' service

We are Mulmar, we are growing and we want you! With more than 30 years' experience and over 140 employees throughout the UK and Ireland, Mulmar is a leader in the supply and maintenance of some of the world's finest espresso coffee machines in offices, high street coffee shops, restaurants, airports, hotels and food retailers.

We are now seeking to recruit a Stores Supervisor to support the efficient operation of the stores function within a coffee machine sales and service environment. The role includes maintaining accurate stock levels of parts and components, ensuring timely allocation of stock to engineers, and delivering excellent service to internal teams and external customers.

As a Stores Supervisor, you will:

  • Manage and monitor stock levels in line with agreed thresholds;
  • Liaise with suppliers, service department, and Stores Manager;
  • Pick and allocate parts for workshop and field engineers;
  • Identify parts using manuals and technical drawings;
  • Receive and process deliveries accurately;
  • Process customer orders efficiently;
  • Maintain accurate stock records;
  • Support stock takes and audits;
  • Keep stores area organized and compliant;
  • Support and guide team members where required.

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

  • Minimum GCSE English and Maths Grade C;
  • Experience in a spare parts/stores department;
  • Experience in supervising a small team;
  • Experience in an office administration, data inputting role required;
  • Experienced in producing and using spreadsheets;
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office);
  • Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative;
  • An ability to read drawings and parts lists to identify correct components required;
  • Good attention to detail and excellent time management skills;
  • Excellent telephone manner and confident when dealing with customers;
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately in a pressurised environment;
  • Able to communicate with colleagues at all levels of seniority, liaise effectively with other internal departments and external contacts.
