Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Shift Pattern & Hours: 0700-1700 Monday to Friday

Pay: £20.60 per hour

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven management or supervisory experience in a workshop or similar environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and thrive under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Running the workshop efficiently - planning workloads, prioritising tasks, and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Leading and motivating the team - providing guidance, approving holidays, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Driving Health & Safety compliance - promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring standards are met.
  • Managing trailer inspections and MOT processes - guaranteeing quality and compliance.
  • Handling breakdowns and coordinating repairs during garage hours.
  • Managing stock and parts - ordering, raising PO numbers, and keeping KPI sheets up to date.
  • Conducting quality checks on inspections and repairs.
  • Maintaining workshop standards - cleanliness, equipment calibration, and PPE compliance.
  • Overseeing service paperwork and defect logs with precision.
