At Biotiful, we're on a mission to improve the nation's gut health. As the UK's No.1 Kefir brand, we're transforming the dairy category with products that are nutritious, innovative and loved by consumers. Our growth has been exceptional, but we're only just getting started.
To support our next phase of growth, we're creating a brand-new Category Manager role. This is an opportunity to join at a pivotal moment, take ownership of our category agenda with key partners across the Convenience channel as well as our rapidly growing International markets. If you're commercially minded, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy turning shopper and consumer insight into action, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Category Controller, you'll lead category strategy across Biotiful's Convenience customer base, helping retailers unlock growth opportunities as well as opening up new white space opportunities partnering with the Sales team. You'll also be creating the category function within the International team using data, insight and market understanding to influence decisions, strengthen retailer partnerships and ensure Biotiful remains at the forefront of driving one of the fastest growth categories within these markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Be the category lead for key Convenience customers, building trusted relationships and delivering category growth plans.
- Identifying opportunities through analysis of shopper behaviour, consumer trends and market performance.
- Delivering compelling recommendations around assortment, merchandising, space and promotional effectiveness.
- Lead market trend analysis across key International markets & partner with Sales to identify opportunities and risks.
- Translating complex data into clear, actionable stories that drive change.
- Monitoring market activity, competitor performance and emerging consumer trends.
Why this role is different
This isn't a traditional category role focused on a single customer account. You'll have responsibility across Biotiful's Convenience customer base, giving you broad exposure, genuine influence and the opportunity to shape category strategy at a national level. As a newly created position, you'll also play an important role in driving the International business focusing on key markets to deliver market category strategies and recommend growth plans in conjunction with the Sales team.
What we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced category professional who combines strong analytical capability with the confidence to influence stakeholders and drive action. You'll ideally bring:
- Experience in Category Management within FMCG Convenience and/or Grocery channel experience.
- International experience would be preferable but not essential.
- A track record of influencing customers through category insight and shopper understanding.
- Excellent presentation, storytelling and communication skills.
- Experience using data to identify opportunities and deliver commercial recommendations.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
Why Biotiful?
- Join the UK's No.1 Kefir brand.
- Modern Hammersmith office with onsite gym facilities.
- As much Biotiful kefir as your gut desires!
- Be part of one of the fastest-growing names in FMCG.
- Influence category strategy across a national and international grocery customer base.
- Work directly with senior stakeholders and retail partners.
- Join during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
