The ideal candidate will have experience within a Despatch/Logistics environment and/or have a transport background. Training will be provided for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and delivering development plans.
- Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems.
- Ensures own activities are aligned to overall business objectives.
- People management including delivery of performance review, development and coaching of team, dealing with employee relations issues.
- Collaboratively works with other teams to improve our business.
- Deep knowledge of Operational Excellence, coaching team on use of the principles and tools.
Müller Responsibilities:
- Creating and delivering development plans.
- Creating succession pathways both up through and across the organisation.
- High level problem solving capability and facilitation skills.
- "Go, look, see" issues by visiting the workstation when called upon.
- Uses PDCA techniques to follow problems through to "100 year fix" in real time.
- Encourages others to seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own operational excellence projects.
- Owns and delivers operational excellence initiatives and is recognised for these.
- Looks and encourages others to find "waste" opportunities in everything that we do.
