To ensure the product being packaged meets the required specification, reporting any defects to the First Response Technician/Shift Lead or Management

Ensure the film utilised for packing is of an acceptable standard and comply with specification in colour and size according to product type

To ensure goods are properly wrapped and to report any faults immediately to First Response Technician/Shift Lead

Ensure paperwork is filled in correctly

To report any fixing requirements to the First Response Technician/Shift Lead

To ensure that housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times

Report any health and safety concerns

Carry out all duties in accordance with health and safety practice and within quality, hygiene and food safety policy

To perform any other duties in connection with the operation of providing good quality packaging that may from time to time be reasonably required by supervision and are consistent with the "main purpose of the job"

Previous food manufacturing experience.

IT skills to support Microsoft office packages and bespoke systems in-house.

A good level of numeracy and literacy skills.

4 on 4 off: 2 days, 2 nights (6-6) – permanent contract
£14.98 per hour / £31,350.93 per annum
2 x basic hourly rate for bank holidays
1.5 x basic hourly rate for overtime
We are currently recruiting for a Bottle Supply Production Operative within our Bottle Supply Department at our Müller Bridgwater Dairy.
This role will involve operating our manufacturing machinery in order to produce the best quality product. You will need to have a strong team working ethic, be results driven and proactive.
The shift pattern for this position involves working on a 4 on 4 off basis: 2 days (6AM-6PM) followed by 2 nights (6PM-6AM) followed by 4 off., What’s in it for you?
