Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance to agreed schedules for Process Valves (Wet End and actuators), Workshop overhauls, Boilers, Cooling Towers, and Process Plants (oversee works).
  • Observe and recognise machine or component defects or symptoms of impending failure, and report them.
  • Service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
  • Examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance and plan of action for improvements.
  • Take on training to enhance skills.

Qualifications:

  • We're looking for an individual who is looking to develop their engineering or process knowledge/career within a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Formal engineering qualifications aren't essential but basic engineering knowledge and experience is a must.
  • Hands on engineering experience - Essential.
  • Manufacturing Industry Experience - Essential.
  • Recognised apprenticeship is advantageous but not essential.
  • Willingness to learn/take on challenges.
  • Valve servicing experience beneficial.
  • Experience working in a processing environment beneficial.
  • Experience of LOTO procedures beneficial.
