Operational Excellence Facilitator

Location: Severnside, Old Ends Lane, Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, GL10 2DG

Hours: Monday to Friday, Onsite, 9:00am - 5:00pm

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Operational Excellence Facilitator to join our team at Severnside. This is an exciting opportunity to support the deployment of Operational Excellence initiatives across site, driving continuous improvement, reducing waste, and enhancing operational performance.

Working closely with operational teams, you will facilitate, coach and support colleagues in delivering improvement projects, using Lean, TPM and Six Sigma methodologies to optimise value creation and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

We're Looking For Someone Who Can Demonstrate

  • Previous experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing or Production environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma principles (Green Belt desirable).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach with a passion for driving positive change and delivering results.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and support Operational Excellence projects across site.
  • Use data analysis and problem-solving techniques to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Coach and influence teams to drive positive operational change.
  • Deploy Lean and TPM tools including 5S, SMED, Autonomous Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis and Standard Work.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities focused on eliminating waste and improving efficiency.
  • Support the development and delivery of local performance management systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and enhance productivity.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver sustainable improvements.
  • Deliver on-the-job coaching and training to support colleague development.
