We are currently looking to recruit for a Part-TimeProduction Operativeto join our Dairy Department at ourSevernsideDairy within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the raw milk intake, fresh milk processing, cream processing, cream export reclaim area and chemical offload area.In addition to carryingout labtestingtoanalyse, recordand report lab results in relation to all required processing lab tests.
Contract: Part-time - 21 hours per week (to include days and nights)
Location:SevernsideDairy
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Checking and recording of all relevant paperwork.
- Sampling and testing of raw products.
- Loading tankers
- Liaising with the other production departments.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Operate equipment and processes effectively, including asset care, maximising output, adherence to plan, waste reduction and cost savings
- Undertake any other duties asrequired.
- Quality assurance
Experience:
- Continuousimprovement
- Quality assurance
- Manufacturing experience - ideally ina food environment
- Production experience- ideally in a food environment
