Are you an experienced operator or technician with a strong background in Operator Asset Care, Preventative Maintenance or Continuous Improvement? We are looking for a Total Asset Care Specialist to join our Central Operational Excellence (OPEX) team, supporting our MYD sites across Market Drayton, Minsterley and Telford. This is a hands‑on, practical role, working directly with shop‑floor teams to improve equipment care, reliability and ownership. This role is ideal for someone who has led or supported Operator Asset Care on site and wants to step into a site‑supporting, improvement‑focused position.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Work hands‑on across MYD sites to support and embed Operator Asset Care and Preventative Maintenance principles
  • Coach and support operators and production teams in equipment care, standards and daily routines
  • Help teams understand, own and improve asset performance at source
  • Use production losses, breakdown information and CI tools to support problem‑solving activities
  • Partner with Engineering, CI and Operations to improve ways of working
  • Act as a go‑to subject matter expert for Operator Asset Care across sites

What You'll Bring

Essential experience and skills:

  • Background as an experienced operator, senior operator or technician in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong experience implementing or working within Operator Asset Care / Preventative Maintenance
  • Understanding of equipment care, standards, routines and basic fault‑finding
  • Experience supporting Continuous Improvement activities on shift
  • Ability to influence and coach others
  • Confidence working across multiple sites and stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Experience acting as a CI Champion, TPM Lead or Asset Care Champion
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing tools
  • Engineering awareness or technical qualifications
