Location: Market Drayton
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Main responsibilities:
- Maintain awareness of the Müller standard testing requirements to ensure compliance at all times.
- Accurately record results of raw materials testing.
- Review the incoming material delivery schedule and develop a weekly inspection plan to meet site testing requirements for incoming goods.
- Support the raw materials specialist and planners to ensure specific testing priorities are considered when developing the weekly inspection plan.
- Follow the appropriate SOP for the raw material being tested to ensure accurate assessment of quality for the batch received.
- Organise testing cover for planned absences.
- Create a positive commitment to hygiene and safety to improve standards and remove potential issues and hazards.
- Drive line performance through coaching of line operators and support managers in the improvement of OEE.
Requirements:
- Packaging related apprenticeship or similar.
- Achieved or working towards a Level 3 in QA or Raw Material related topic.
- HACCP Level 2.
- Food Safety Level 2.
- Previous laboratory experience.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience using SAP modules is desirable.
- Experience writing technical reports is desirable.
