What You’ll Be Doing
- New Product Launches: Support the end-to-end process of new product launches, including project management, recipe development, and leading project meetings to ensure successful outcomes
- Design and Packaging Development: Oversee external design agencies and lead the in-house packaging process, ensuring smooth collaboration between the packaging department and factories to deliver high‑quality outcomes
- Brand Portfolio Management: Contribute to the performance of a specific part of the brand portfolio by monitoring key metrics, recommendations improvements, and motivating cross‑functional teams to drive success
- Market and Brand Analysis: Conduct sharp, data‑driven analysis of brand and market information to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Sales Support: Play an active role in the selling process by presenting your products internally to the sales teams and externally to retailers, ensuring strong brand representation
- Brand Ownership: Take charge of the day‑to‑day management of the brand segment you are responsible for, ensuring its growth and alignment with overall brand objectives
- Consumer Expertise: Become a passionate expert on your consumer, understanding their needs and preferences to help shape the brand’s direction
- Collaborative Group Projects: Work alongside other placement students on a group project, enhancing teamwork and problem‑solving skills
What We’re Looking For
Müller is looking for driven, outgoing students with a passion for success to join this 13‑month placement program. We’re seeking university students who are on track to achieve a 2:1 and above and are looking for a placement year role.
Key Skills And Qualifications Include
- Clear and respectful communication skills: Both written and verbal. The ability to express ideas effectively, listen actively, and tailor communication to different audiences and contexts.
- Leadership experience: Proven leadership abilities, demonstrated through involvement in extracurricular activities
- Resilience under Pressure: Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Initiative and teamwork: Capability to work independently and collaboratively
- Organisational skills: Effective time management and high attention to detail
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills: Making data‑driven decisions to solve problems efficiently
- Technical proficiency: Competence with Microsoft office and digital tools
- UK driving licence: Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least one year
- UK Residency: Eligibility to work in the UK (Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship as the salary falls below the required threshold.)
