Job Description We are currently recruiting for a Process Optimisation Technician to join our Manchester Dairy. Contract - Permanent / Full Time Shift Pattern – Monday – Friday - 7am start time The ideal candidate will have strong process background within a food manufacturing environment, a high level problem solving capability, the ability to process map and can collaboratively work with other internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities of a Process Optimisation Technician will include: Constant recognition that the value creation is “level 1” - First line support primary purpose is to support the front line teams. Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems. Basic level understanding of PLC and logic fault finding skills. Maintenance excellence / Asset care. Work with engineering & technicians to observe, recognise and report on process performance and improvement. Availability to receive emergency calls out of hours, to be able to provide remote support when in need. Operational Excellence Overview and Waste Management. All Dairy Technical Competency Workshops OR L3 Dairy Operator. Apprenticeship Process mapping. Basic logic / PLC fault finding.
