Responsibilities:
- Play an essential role in the supply chain.
- Use analytical skills in hand with commercial and sales data to effectively estimate future product demands.
- Plan inventory flow, analyse statistical data, and generate forecasting solutions.
- Develop effective forecast models based on trends and demand patterns for the short, medium and long term basis for the portfolio of products (including existing & new SKUs).
- Analyse and maintain an accurate demand plan utilising current systems.
- Work closely with Customers to develop insight to improve ongoing forecasting accuracy in the short to medium term.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Commercial, Finance and Marketing teams to align the sales forecast for key activities including Promotions, New Product launches and Seasonal events.
- Propose and implement solutions to continually improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Monitor and report on significant changes in sales forecasts and business strategies and conduct monthly forecast review sessions.
Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant subject.
- Demand forecasting experience in FMCG.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to build effective business relationships with customers and other functions at all levels via excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
