It is responsible for major brands like Müller Corner, Müllerlight, Müller Bliss, Müller Rice, FRijj and Müller Kefir Smoothie and produces chilled desserts under licence from Mondelez International.
We are currently looking to recruit a Lab Technician to join our Manchester Dairy within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business. The successful person will enable the Dairy with assuring quality performance through analysis, subject knowledge and testing performance whilst striving to continuously improve in line with the Müller values.
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Full Time/Permanent
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights 7-7)
Location: Manchester
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise through quality based testing and data evaluation
- Demonstrate active involvement in solving problems / troubleshooting through data analysis and evaluation
- Play an active part in building QMS capability across site
- Responsible for laboratory tasks and management systems (5S etc)
- Support and process confirms operations quality control responsibilities
- Have a good understanding and play an active part within the performance management system (PMS)
- Provide governance and ownership of Quality Index and other monthly reports
- Responsible for internal and external audit processes

- HACCP Awareness (Level 2-3)
