We're recruitingaProduction Shift Leaderat MullerSevernside to enable the team to deliver targets and continuously improve performance by coaching and developing our people.
The ideal candidate will have experience within Food Production or have a FMCG background and will lead the team to continued success.
Responsibilities as Production Shift Lead will include but not be limited to:
- Creating and delivering development plans.
- Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems.
- Ensures own activities are aligned to overall business objectives.
- People management including delivery of performance review, development and coaching of team, dealing with employee relations issues.
- Collaboratively works with other teams to improve our business.
- Deep knowledge of Operational Excellence , coaching team on use of the principles and tools.
Muller Responsibilities:
- Creating and delivering development plans.
- Creating succession pathways both up through and across organisation .
- High level problem solving capability and facilitation skills.
- go, look, see issues by visiting the workstation when called upon .
- Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems.
- Uses PDCA techniques to follow problems through to 100 year fix in real time.
- Encourages others to seeks out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own operational excellence projects .
- Owns and delivers operational excellence initiatives and is recognised for these.
- Looks and encourages others to find waste opportunities in everything that we do.
