Building Services Technician - Commercial Electrician
Location: Severnside
Contract: Permanent | Monday-Friday
We're looking for a Building Services Technician (Electrician) to support the maintenance and safe operation of our Severnside site. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a qualified electrician who also has experience across general building and facilities maintenance. You’ll play a key role in ensuring site reliability, carrying out electrical work alongside wider maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment. Internally known as Building Services Technician.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs across the site (lighting, sockets, basic fault finding)
- Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks
- Maintain and monitor site equipment including boilers, compressors and cooling systems
- Perform general building maintenance (basic plumbing, carpentry, fabric repairs)
- Support site compliance including permit to work, contractor control and Legionella
- Maintain high standards of safety, water hygiene and building condition
Skills & experience:
- Qualified or time served Electrician (commercial/industrial)
- Experience in building services or site maintenance environments
- Multi-skilled approach across electrical and general maintenance
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
