Join to apply for the Engineering Support Co-Ordinator role at Müller UK & Ireland. We are currently recruiting in our Market Drayton team for an Engineering Support Co-Ordinator. We are looking for an experienced individual to support the MYD Business Units with Engineering Apprentices. You will help to improve, develop and maintain systems throughout the organisation relating to your position in order to support the business and achieve our aim to become the biggest and best chilled dairy & Ingredients Company in the UK.
Your challenge:
- Working across 3 MYD sites.
- Providing effective skills coaching and mentoring to our L3 Engineering Apprentices.
- Conducting site visits across our Yoghurt Sites, to coach, train and mentor our apprentices through their apprenticeship programme, gateway and successful achievement of the end point assessment.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience working with apprentices and have experience working within an engineering manufacturing role. They must also have an appropriate Engineering HNC/HND/Degree and/or vocational qualification or equivalent.
In this role, the key responsibilities will include:
- Support and advise on our engineering apprenticeship inductions.
- Build relationships across the MYD site engineering teams to support the mentors and managers on the development of all engineering apprentices.
- Build a technical training/coaching framework that provides technical and behavioural coaching to all our engineering apprentices aligned to our development framework.
- Support the sites in providing engineering training across our engineering apprentice co-hort.
- Be the point of contact to all of our engineering provider assessors, the apprentices and site engineering teams.
- Ensure all engineering apprentices are on track with their programmes throughout the apprenticeship.
- Support and prepare engineering apprentices for their EPA, and be advisor for the Early Careers team on our EPA providers for engineering.
- Assist with engineering development days in partnership with the Early Careers team.
- Build strong partnerships with our providers and assessors to ensure all apprentices are on track, are supported and our providers meet the expectations of their delivery contract.
- Deliver the talent/progress reviews to senior leaders as per the development framework for all engineering apprentices.
- Report and identify training needs that feed into a training framework for all engineering apprentices.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of apprenticeships, assessing and EPA processes.
- Experience in a technical training/teaching role within engineering.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Pro-active and uses initiative.
