We’re recruiting … Sales Finance Business Partner

We are looking to welcome a Sales Finance Business Partner to support our Private Label function; we’re looking for a highly motivated individual to act as a key commercial business partner supporting the Sales Financial Controller in business partnering the Private Label Commercial team. You will provide day-to-day and strategic financial and commercial decision support ensuring robustness financial data and commercial forecasts.
Your challenge for the Sales Finance Business Partner: –• Business Partner the Sales Teams providing financial and commercial decision support and insight to drive the business forward in these areas.• Management of Customers P&L’s.• Evaluation and development of individual customer business plans.• Input into the Sales business review process.• Input into the monthly promotional management process.• Pre and post promo evaluation reviews.• Support in terms of resolving debt issues.• Dealing with day-to-day queries from your key contacts.• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis.• Work closely on JBP’s, attending external customer meetings.• GO compliance-ensure financial commitments from pre-evaluated and pre-approved in line with the company’s compliance policy.• Build strong relationships across the commercial teams to ensure involvement in decision up-front.• To remain accurate in a fast-paced commercial environment whilst remaining pragmatic in judgement of materiality.• Take a holistic view across the commercial sphere.• Controlling support in M cycle process working closely with Sales Controller and teams.• Attend Sales Business review and pre-meetings providing support and analysis to feed into the presentation.• Review, analyse and challenge risk and opportunities and commercial forecast.• Analyse monthly financial forecast to provide insight into key changes by customer and brand, explaining variances vs previous forecast, budget and prior year result.• Review with the commercial team of YTD and YTG full year sales forecast and associated CM, ensuring plans are sufficient to meet the annual targets.• Reconciliation of customer NSV.• Analysis of performance vs forecast & prior year.• Preparation of required journal postings.• Month End Day 5/6/7 preparation and reporting.• Provide commentary on key drivers of performance for customer base.• On an annualised basis, (July-September), lead the commercial teams for Business Unt area through the commercial budgeting process ensuring that robust plans are developed which meet the issued top-down targets.• Be open-minded and actively seek process improvement and efficiencies in ways of working.
